Family’s Family Photos

The day after the JUGS photography class, I did family photos for my sister and family. I can’t believe how fast my niece and nephew have grown up. As always, they were great for the camera and even helped me scout out spots for the session. We walked down to the lake and used a fellow JUGS member’s yard which was an amazing setting. Cara (who’s yard we took over) was getting ready to leave for her daughter’s birthday party, so there were 2 extra kids in the yard. Of course, I couldn’t leave them out, and they joined us for some photos as well. Here are a couple sneak peeks from the session.

JUGS

Not what you are thinking…well not really. My sister is part of a group in Savona called JUGS, which stands for Just Us Girls. They all pay a fee each month, and take turns organizing an activity with the money. For Cristina’s month, she asked me to teach my I Want to Shoot My Kids photography class. I had a blast and can’t believe how much I laughed. Thank you girls so much for being so welcoming and inviting me to you September JUGS!

Ava…3 Months

Ava is my newest Baby Steps client. I’m very excited about getting to photograph her every 3 months for the first year of her life! I love these sessions because of the drastic changes that happen the first year of a babe’s life and getting to experience a lot of firsts with them. I was there when she took her first breath and I’m excited to see her sit and stand for the first time. I’m always amazed of how much they change the 3 months between our visits and how attached I become to them. I always look forward to these sessions, and with a cutie like Ava, who wouldn’t?

The Olson’s

I have been so fortunate with the weather cooperating for outdoor sessions recently, and this session was no exception. I couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more fun family to spend the afternoon with. Lynn, all your stressing over clothing choices paid off – everyone looked great!
